What’s the cancellation policy?

2024/2025 CANCELLATION POLICY:

The retainer payment (Deposit) that you make upon booking reserves and starts the planning of our services for your date and time, and is non-refundable after 48 hours. Non-weather related cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will forfeit 100% of the event cost.

(We recommend planning ahead with one of these options in case of poor weather)

When booking, the client acknowledges that poor weather is a possibility, so if within 48 hours of your event the weather forecast predicts inclement weather, our management team will reach out to you to discuss available options. These options may include, and are limited to:

#1) Using a backup indoor or protected location such as a large tent or nearby pavilion (tents typically must be rented in advance from a 3rd party - Little Palm Picnics & Events does not have large tents available for rent), #2) Rescheduling within the calendar year (subject to calendar availability), #3) Refunding all but the retainer payment.

In the event of bad/severe weather our management team reserves the right to refuse set up if the weather poses a risk to our team or inventory. See above options if we decide that setup is not possible.

Where can I host a picnic?

You have the option of hosting your picnic at many locations within Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, or Eastern Rhode Island. We are able to set up at permitted public locations and private locations (such as public parks, public beaches, backyards, etc.). Should you request a location that charges an entry or permitting fee, the client will be responsible for covering that fee for our team to set up. For example: many public beaches charge an entry fee during their business hours, some charge beach use permit fees, etc…

You will be prompted to provide your desired location upon checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your location choice, but please refer to our location & accessibility rules at checkout.

(In addition, alcohol is STRICTLY PROHIBITED on public beaches. If you would like to bring alcohol to your picnic you must utilize private property.)

What’s Included

Each picnic includes a full set up using

  • beautifully styled custom farm tables

  • fresh floral arrangements and greenery 

  • Simple Graze Platter included for events up to 10 people (crackers, vegetables, fruits, and additional pickings)

  • blanket and pillow floor seating 

  • flatware, drinkware, and napkins 

  • a customized letter board

  • bluetooth speaker

  • additional decor

  • full delivery, set-up, and clean-up services

What’s the food menu?

We have several picnic style food options available for 2025, including a brunch spread, fruit platters, vegetable platters, dessert spreads, and gourmet deli sandwiches - for parties of 8 guests or larger. The gourmet deli sandwiches include an assortment of turkey and ham on a large croissant. You are, however, always welcome to bring your favorite picnic food to enjoy at the picnic!

(Food availability is subject to location choice as certain public locations do not permit food)

What are the optional add-ons for my picnic?

When booking your picnic, you will be given the option to add on elements to personalize your picnic. Here is a list of some of the optional add-ons.

  • Gourmet Sandwiches + Cape Cod Chips & Drink

  • Dessert board with assorted gourmet pastries

  • Brunch spread with assorted breakfast and lunch pickings

  • Non-alcoholic beverages

  • Cold Brew Coffee Station, complete with flavor syrups, ice, and cups with lids and straws.
